Eddy Kara Pictures is a film production company created by Eddy Kara himself. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Eddy Kara started making films at the age of 17. After graduating from Vanier College with a specialization in Theatre, he graduated from the Vancouver Film School in Film Production.

Since 2016, he has been the Festival Director of the Montreal International Wreath Awards Film Festival (MIWAFF), where he won the award for Best Director in 2015, for his work in "The Sociopath's Guild". That year, this film received a total of 8 nominations at various festivals.

In 2017, he finalized his studies in Business Management at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal. Subsequently, he completed his studies in Law from the Universite de Montreal in the following year.

In 2019, he won the Best Screenplay Wreath Award for "No, Mr. Mayor-Part2". In 2020, it also received 2 nominations for Best Cinematography and won for Best Comedy Director at the New York True Venture Film Festival.
